Well… At least it\’s not blogger…..

Did you remember?

Yep…. it’s my least favorite weekend of the year…. The shortest one. Daylight savings time…. Joy o joy. Why do we need this? Why do we go thru the ritual of setting clocks forward and backward over and over and over again…. let’s settle on a time and go with it! Next year, it comes earlier (in March) and stays later (till November)…. Why couldn’t they just say- Hey…. this time works for us… we’re gonna keep it all year! Can’t decide which time? Split the difference… make permanent real time half an hour from what it is right now!

Anyway…. enjoy what’s left of your weekend- even though they stole an hour from you….

  2. Here from Michelle’s!

I slept in this morning… which made it even worse since we lost an hour! I agree with you… I wish they’d quit messing with the time! (although I have to admit I do like getting the hour back in the fall!)

  3. Michele sent me here to see you, Guppyman.

I don’t miss the hour at all. I sleep so weird that even a 6 hour change a la jetlag never affects me at all. I just don’t like having to commute with the sun so low on the horizon. The glare in my eyes is annoying!

    Have a great week!

  4. I had to work, so it was even harder getting up.
PS Where was your review on “Survivor” this week? Did you forget it was on? Go check out MommaK’s and see what you think???

  5. I need my hour back! I hate this losing an hour thing! (guess I’ll get it back in October).

Hope you and your sweet fam have a great week!!

  6. I *love* this. I get an extra hour of light in the evening-and for the night blind, that’s a huge deal!

  7. I was happy with the “spring forward”. Since I was working this early morning, I got off work extra early!

Why do we bother with this “spring foward”, “fall behind” ritual anyway? Doesn’t it just cancel each other out? And, do I really care about the degree of brightness or darkness out side?
