Latest Project

I am in the process of building my first paid job! Here it is as of last night… I am going to shorten the back by 4 inches and then stain it….

Now to figure out how to make a career of building things like this….

  1. It’s looking great. I use to do craft fairs and there was a man that sold a bunch of hand crafted benches and chairs. You could really do something like that.

    It is looking great so far! I can’t wait to see more pics of your progression with it!

    Would it be wrong of me to ask how much you are getting for it? I remember the poll from way back when, asking what we would pay for something like that… (or was it for a chair? I can’t remember all the fine print… haha)

  6. I did this one for a friend for $100. Probably should have been higher, this has actually been harder than if I had just painted it…. Since i am staining it I have been real careful on my wood selection and sanding it down just right.
